Today I witnessed a miracle.  The reunion of two very good friends of mine who had been seperated then divorced for nearly five years.  They were only one couple who had gotten into trouble over the years that I knew of,  but it was what was done that made all the difference.  At our church my pastor decided enough was enough, he literally got up and said  ” Before you come to my office for counseling concerning divorce I want you to watch this movie and then do the 40 days of work and the work book if that doesn’t work then set up an appointment”.   Folks looked back and forth at each other some shaking their heads,  some whispering  but the climate in the church had suddenly grown drafty and cold.  Nonplussed the pastor remained stoic and the “Couples Ministry”  in our church had a featured showing of the movie “Fireproof”.  This was last year sometime,   since last yr. they have fallen back in love this couple remarried Sunday during service and invited several of their friends to witness what they are calling  “Their testimony”.  The pastor ministered on marriage after the short but very nice ceremony.  At the conclusion of the sermon the pastor made a single plea for marriages.   The altar was full of couples willing to fight to save their marriage and asking for prayer.  Their wasn’t a dry eye in the place all day long.  Anointed readers;  in a day and time when America has gone out of it’s way to spit in the eye of the almighty,  and redefine marriage, bust up the family at any and every opportunity,  I just want to take this opportunity to give the devil a black eye and say WHAM take that!!!!
